I personally have always struggled with the idea of “fitting in”, growing up I often felt like I didn’t belong in most settings. Your wedding day should never make you feel like you don’t belong. I get it, societal pressure and cookie cutter weddings are being thrown at you from everywhere. But you have to ask yourself, how is it that you have such unique one-of-a-kind love between you and your partner and you’re expected to get married in the same way as everyone else?
